15–20 frozen or homemade dumplings (veggie, chicken, or your choice)
2 tbsp vegetable oil (for pan-frying)
For the Salad Base:
2 cups mixed lettuce or cabbage (shredded)
1 cup cucumber (thinly sliced)
1 carrot (julienned or shredded)
½ red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
2 spring onions (chopped)
Fresh cilantro or mint leaves (a handful)
For the Dressing:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar (or lime juice)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to spice level)
1 tsp grated ginger
1 clove garlic (minced)
Optional: 1 tsp peanut butter for creaminess
🔥 Method
Cook Dumplings: Heat oil in a pan and fry dumplings until golden brown and crispy on both sides (about 5–6 min). Set aside.
Make Dressing: Whisk soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, chili flakes, ginger, and garlic until well combined.
Assemble Salad: In a large bowl, toss lettuce, cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, and spring onions with the dressing.
Add Dumplings: Place crispy dumplings on top of the salad.
